Laser Treatment at RAW Aesthetics and Wellness

WHAT IS PHOTOREJUVENATION?

Photo Rejuvenation Full Face $500/treatment 45 minutes

Photorejuvenation, or commonly referred to as IPL, therapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses light-based energy to improve the health and appearance of the skin. At RAW Aesthetics and Wellness in Millcreek, UT, we utilize the Harmony XL PRO laser by Alma to perform photo facials. This allows us to customize your IPL treatment to meet your unique needs. IPL is most commonly used to address wrinkles, sun damage, age spots, brown patches, freckles, and rosacea on the face and neck. The light energy from IPL targets damaged and pigmented cells within the skin to achieve a clearer, healthier complexion. This treatment will prompt the skin’s natural healing process and boost collagen production over time. To renew your skin, call our wellness center to book an appointment with one of our aesthetic experts, Heather Darling, FNP-IFMCP, or Alisa Wright, RN. We look forward to serving you.

PHOTOREJUVENATION FAQS

How much does photorejuvenation cost?

Every patient’s case is unique so your cost for treatments will vary based on your specific condition. RAW Aesthetics and Wellness occasionally offers specials on photorejuvenation therapy and accepts most major credit cards. At your first consultation, our Millcreek, UT team can estimate your costs and create a convenient payment plan that works with your budget.

How quick are the results from photorejuvenation?

While some skin improvements can be seen following each Harmony XL PRO session, optimal results typically occur 3 – 6 months after a full series of treatments is completed. This will vary for each patient, but the results will provide notable improvements in the tone, texture, and clarity of your skin.

What are the possible side effects of photorejuvenation?

Most men and women have mild side effects, like temporary redness, swelling, crusting, blisters, or bruising. These symptoms typically improve within 1 – 2 weeks after treatment. Your skin will also be vulnerable to direct sunlight. So, we recommend avoiding prolonged sun exposure and outdoor activities for a few days after your IPL treatment.

Why should I get multiple photorejuvenation sessions?

Multiple treatments are better to produce gradual improvements to the quality of your complexion. Each session helps to reduce discolored spots and other surface irregularities. A series of sessions also produces longer-lasting results. On average, most patients receive 3 – 6 IPL treatments spaced one month apart to achieve optimal outcomes.
